Aldar has launched the first homes at Abu Dhabi’s AED100bn ($27.2bn) Marsa Al Saadiyat development, with 351 standalone villas set to go on sale.

Talay will be the first residential community at Marsa Al Saadiyat and forms part of the final phase of the Saadiyat Island masterplan unveiled in July.

The homes will be available for sale from September 23.

Marsa Al Saadiyat is an AED100bn ($27.2bn) waterfront destination spanning approximately 6.4 million sq m and eight kilometres of coastline.

Talay comprises an exclusive collection of 351 standalone villas featuring contemporary architecture.

The development also incorporates work by Emirati artist Abdalla Almulla, who collaborated on bespoke louvre details for the homes.

His work will extend into Talay’s public realm through a commissioned fountain as part of the wider development’s integration of art and culture.

The launch represents the first residential offering within Marsa Al Saadiyat.

The development is also located alongside an underground Etihad Rail high-speed rail station integrated into a Transit-Oriented Development hub.

Aldar said the transport infrastructure will support sustainable mobility and improve connectivity with the wider UAE.

Talay homes will go on sale from September 23.
