According to the Dubai Land Department, Dubai reported 2,739 transactions this week totaling AED8.4 billion ($2.3 billion) (DLD).
274 plots worth AED1.36 billion and 1,902 homes worth AED4.35 billion were sold in the emirate during the week ending August 26.
The most expensive deal was a land sale in Business Bay for AED 110 million. The second-largest deal involved a further plot of land sold in Wadi Al Safa 2 for AED38.75 million.
Al Hebiah Fifth led the list of deals with 100 sales transactions totaling AED284.4 million. Jabal Ali First came in second with 76 sales transactions totaling AED254.28 million, and Al Merkadh came in third with 21 sales transactions totaling AED152 million.
For the week, the value of mortgaged real estate totaled AED1.67 billion.
